Some of the pieces need refinement (longer jeans, looser t-shirt, better scarf), but this formula is such a good one that even imperfect pieces can work successfully together.

Amy, I think it is a terrific formula on you! With the small tweaks you suggested it will be a real winner.
Amy, you're so right. It is amazing how great this combination looks on so many different people. On you it is superb. I think what gives it extra life here is those fun buttons on your jacket!
You look so cute- TBH, I only noticed the need for enhancements only after you pointed them out... Are you growing your hair out?
Thanks, ladies.
@RunnerChick - I'm growing out a pixie, but am only aiming for a little more length. I'm really close to my goal :)
timeless is right. a perfect outfit.
This has to be one of my favourite formulas. Love your outfit & your smile:)
Amy this has to be one of my favourite look on you. Stunning.
Abso-tootin'-lutely! (that's midwestern for you look fab).
This formula (with a black jacket) is in my holiday travel capsule.
Amy, YLF! None of the pieces require refinement. This is your best outfit and you look gorgeous!
Yes, simply beautiful and timeless. Love the gold buttons on your jacket.
This is a great look for you. You look comfortable and chic!
Very nice! I rather like the scarf :)
You've done a great job with it and it looks timeless. I'm glad I kept my same jacket. I am still looking for the right scarf to tackle this look entirely.
How true! And your observations are correct. I think that the "imperfect" pieces give the look a more casual, weekend feel, but adjust it like you said, and it will make it even more chic.
This is a great look on you and you have adapted it with lots of flair. Stripes respond to print, rigorous, very well tailored marine-plus-gold-buttons structures the jeans. Well played!
Oh this is really REALLY good on you Amy! And an interesting observation that even slightly off technicalities (i.e. PPL) can be offset to some degree by a perfect formula. I'm going to have to remember that!
Good grief you wear this look well! The tweaks you suggested will make this outfit an 11 out of 10. Your hair is looking great too!
How are you, Amy? Looks like you're hanging in there with a cool head and lots of style.
This is one of your best in my opinion! You look fab! Been away from the forum for a while so I just want to add that I love the longer hair.
Wow, thanks everyone.
Angie, I'm doing much better, thanks for asking. I'm looking forward to a couple of days off work, and hanging out with family and friends :)
Just what the doctor ordered :). Enjoy!
Oooo, I LOVE this on you Amy, and I have the same pieces to be your twin. I like this outfit formula for air travel too, with no belt or jewelry (except pearl studs) to hold up the line at security. I think MaryK travels in something similar.
Great formula, your tweaks will really make it killer - love the jacket.
Looks great - wonderful for you! You could almost endlessly trade the tee and scarf in this formula to create so many perfect outifts.
Thanks, ladies!
You are a shining example of how perfectly Angie's formula can work. You look amazing!
