I like this outfit...and all the layers are keeping me nice and warm.
I'm irritated with my collar though...it won't stay put. If I could breathe with the top button done up, I'd button it, but it cuts off my airway, so I'm resigned to looking a bit like Disco Stu.

That bright pink sweater is awesome with this. This fit on everything (except the blouse as you said) is so perfect. I seriously doubt anyone will mistake you for Disco Stu. Who is he anyway? He must be a Simpsons character?

Amy you need some styling tape! It's meant just for moments like this when your collar won't stay down! It works really well to close gaps in your bust area when you wear a snug button through shirt. Get some!

Oh, those pesky flyaway collars. Still, you look great! I like splashes of hot pink against subdued classic patterns like houndstooth.
bf once used glue stick to hold a RTW shirt collar down. He says it washes out of cotton NP and doesn't stain. YMMV; I'm more of a safety-pin-from-inside-garment kind of jury rigger.

I would copy it exactly except that I just found holes (from wear) in my years-old hot pink JCrew cashmere. Weeping silently over here.

What a bright, cheerful look for (here, at least) a gloomy November day! Hot pink and houndstooth go together like...Disco Stu and the Simpsons?! Seriously, I love this combination and wore it myself recently as a hot pink sweater and a houndstooth skirt.
