WIW - Wonderland

I looked out the window yesterday and saw an unfamiliar substance coating the sidewalks, trees and yards. More of it has accumulated since then and my kids are delirious with excitement. Their mood has rubbed off on me.

Of course, this strange substance required different clothes than I normally wear. What I was able to cobble together for myself and my children wasn't particularly attractive, but you know what? That strange substance makes everything look a little magical--kind of like candle light.

Does Rosie like the snow, Angie?

  • Angie replied 12 years ago

She does! Both Rosie and Jasmine love to eat the snow. But they get buried fast because they are little. We have been out the whole day with friends and had a great time. Hope that you had fun too!

Christopher Plumber just won a Golden Globe!!! I love him :)

It looks like fun! My parents in Oregon got snow too, I guess! It's pretty fun when you don't get it often.

Snow does make everything magical...until you have to shovel your driveway from 2 feet of snow which magically appear overnight! :-)
Enjoy your snow day - I know it is pure joy for the kids!

Beautiful! I love the enormous snowball. What a fun day.

I remember a day when I was around your kids' age where it snowed a lot, and my mom helped us make an immense snow cat in the yard. It was twice as tall as our dog!
