WIW 11.13.13 - Inspired by Angie

I adore this outfit of Angie's:

Sadly, I don't have a lace blouse that works quite as well, but I did the best I could with this green Boden top. I had to roll up the sleeves, because the lace sleeves were too tight over the white shirt to look good and my white shirt wasn't long enough to peak out the bottom like Angie's.

I'm not as much of a minimalist as Angie, so was tempted to add a necklace. I can't tell if it works here or not. What do you think?

    I like the look! If it was me, I don't think I'd add the necklace, but I'm pretty minimal when it comes to jewelry.

    Amy, your copy is ten times more brilliant than my copy (so pathetic I will not show) and I really, really like this! It's a great way to get more wear from your lace top. I prefer without the necklace but that is just my own minimalism speaking -- feel free to ignore that!

    I'm only able to enlarge one of your photos for some reason - may just be me.  But from what I can see I LOVE, LOVE this on you!  It is so ladylike and refined and that green is your color.  I think my favorite outfit of yours that I've seen.  I can't see the necklace so can't comment on that.  :)

    What a gorgeous rendition of Angies outfit. You really have made the look your own and you glow in the green. I have a minor preference for it without the necklace.

    This is a fabulous copycat because you added so much of Amy into it.
    That green looks so so good on you and the shapes and volumes are so well balanced here.

    I love your interpretation of Angie's look. That shade of green is absolutely stunning on you. I like it best without the necklace as the Boden top is so special just on its own. Beautiful!!!

    Excellent layering, Amy!  And the color is fresh and flattering.  As for the necklace, I love minimal, but feel happiest with a little somethin'-somethin'.  The necklace is beautiful.
