I think I was too tired after a long day [at work and my bus blowing a tire on the way home and having to run several blocks in heels to find another way home and then to find both my kids and husband home sick and needing TLC] to smile properly.
Oh well. The outfit was comfy! Some day, I'd like to get a white or red or pink jacket to wear with the top. This ensemble is a tad too dark for me.

OK, yes, I can absolutely see you with a white, red or pink jacket over this (and there are a lot out there right now). However, this is so amazingly fun and perfectly you. The black provides a perfect backdrop for the modernist top and the fabulous shoes. Hope your weekend gives you a little chance for a rest.

I like it too. The skinny pants look great on you. Meredith has put together some fabulous casual outfits with skinny pants. You should check her pics for inspiration. I think those pants could be the perfect casual bottom for you.

And this is a great outfit! I agree, the top would be fantastic with a pink jacket, but it's good as it is, too. You look wonderful in the pants and shoes!

Wow, the shoes really work well with the top! Nice! I am on the lookout for a cream jacket myself...preferable leather or pleather. I'm going to check the Rack this weekend.

What a crazy day - luckily it's the weekend already.
That top is so fun - cream/magenta/red/grey - you could spin it other directions but the asymmetrical hem on your topper pairs well with it - your overall look is very mod :)
I love that top! Wow, that's a great print. And yes, you officially *need* a light or bright jacket once it warms up a bit more. Love the shoes and you look super in your casual skinny pants! If I hadn't heard your tragic story, I would never have known from this picture how rough your day was. Seriously we all just pick ourselves apart in photos! Hope you get some down time this weekend, Supermom!
